    Default CC503 Requirments

So im looking at putting the CC503 cam in my 95. I know it would be best to get springs and RR but funds may be limited. My question is this, Will the car be ok to run with just the cam?

You need springs period. The stock springs can barely handle the stock cam. You could probably get away with the stock rockers, but honestly I would wait until you get the funds to do the whole swap AND get a tune on it.

I would buy springs and save for roller rockers later.

You need more than just the cam. For example:

Springs, retainers, locks, seats, timing chain, cam gear, crank gear, rockers, and most importantly, TUNING. That's at the bare minimum, IMO. You COULD run the stock rockers but since you have it all apart it makes sense to just do it right the first time.

To add roller rockers later would be very easy and in his case he wouldn't be removing heads or anything. He'd just do the springs in the car.

Obviously the OP is new to this so having to set valve lash twice may not be for him. It makes more sense to just save up the extra $300 and do it all in one shot.

    Been there, done that.
