It is some really good info......And really good idea for its time. I think where it becomes an issue is when a aftermarket coil is put in the system.
Mine ate up the rotor and etc. within 10k miles after putting it on. When we took it apart it was all corroded up so I suppose the MSD and
other higher aftermarket coils are creating a higher condition of the ozone effect that is going on in there.
But when some buddies have problems with theirs I'll have some info to use to help figure out the problem.
Thx for posting that!97 Comp T/A #161 out of 164 LT1 383 stroker, TPIS/AFR heads, JE pistons, 9.3cr, extreme energy comp cams 224/230, Howards billet rods 5.85, Callies dragon slayer crank, 2 bolt mains converted to 4 bolt billet, Mildon oil pump, MSD opti, 6AL, boost retard, HVC 2 blaster coil, BBk 58mm, 50lb injectors, 3200 stall. Took 600b off to help fund twin turbo.
