Man the weather was awesome today here. Company had a taco truck come out to us and they made the BEST brisket tacos I've ever had, period. They also had glass bottle coca-cola with real cane sugar Ate out on the curb sitting in the sun with my boss and coworkers lol. Didn't wanna go back inside haha. Weather was still so nice when I got home I said fuck waiting till the weekend and went ahead and took shit apart and finally did the throttle body bypass mod. Took me about 2 hours start to finish, but I managed to get that stupid L hose off the throttle body and steam pipe without having to remove the alternator or anything. Only things I took off was the ram air box and MAF and the alternator bracket that connects to the intake manifold. Made putting it back together nice and quick. If anyone is about to do this, save yourself the extra effort and just get some shears, cut the L-shaped hose in 2 in the middle, then move the hose clamps off of it, and slice the hose with a knife to get it off easily. Hardest part on mine was getting the hoses to let go of the piping cuz they had practically fused themselves to the metal lol. Just thought I'd share, that was more fun than sitting in the house on the computer for the night (again...) IMO

Thanks! Not sure yet, aren't really any other free mods I can do. Gotta save up for the next mod now. Can't decide if I wanna do Bilsteins & Stranos first or start with some Kooks LTs & Y-Pipe and Borla all the way back. Suspension would be cheaper, but I would kinda like the power boost and change in exhaust note. Fuckin love the Borla sound.

I might step in it with this comment, but I would do gears. I won alot of street races down in Mexico with my 93 with just a set of 4.10s.

I've thought about gears at some point, but also right now my gas mileage doesn't seem to get above 15 mpg overall since I unfortunately don't get too many highway miles in my daily commute, so I think I'll stick with my 3.42s for now just to stay at least around 15 mpg. Honestly are there any mods that would not only free up some extra HP while also improving gas mileage? Dunno if headers/exhaust would do that for me, but it doesn't require any extra fuel, so in my mind it couldn't hurt at least. Feel free to tell me I'm an idiot and I'm wrong lol.

I think the exhaust ends up getting worse gas mileage, cause you always get on it, so you can hear that 1200.00 you just spent. LOL

Lol just looked up what I want on Summit and Kooks LTs w/ ORY and Borla exhaust, it came out to $2061.77 before shipping x.x

Edit: Looks like they're offering free shipping, so don't have to worry there lol.
