    Default sbc bearings same as lt1?

    getting ready to order new bearings for my fresh crank. can i run sbc bearings in my lt1? arent they the same?
    aint nuthin but a 1995 slowmaro.... that thumps a lil bit

    I believe they are, but I would double check. A simple call to the Summit or Jegs would give you the specifics. You can also look it up by finding bearings for the LT1 on their pages and seeing what they actually fit (there's a tab on there for application). A quick look on Summit shows all three (rod/crank/cam) utilize the same bearings. Double check before you buy something, though.

    they are the same........cb663 is the prefix for clevite rod bearings ms909 is the prefix for the mains..........with aftermarket chamfered cranks make sure you run a narrowed bearing such as a cb663hn (add an x to the end for .001 under)
