Worse part about it is they don't understand why you can't stay home. Although there have been a few days that they've thrown a big enough fit that I called in. There's no way I could go out and work on the road. I would go crazy not seeing my kids.

Trust me it blows. I'm on the road. My 3 year old always asks Ashley "when is daddy coming home?" I have gone 2 months without seeing the wife or them before. Only thing that kept me sane was working 7-12s didn't have time to miss them. Originally Posted by firebird_1995

Longest ive not seen my kids is a week when i go to ATL for training once a yr. Enjoy everything you can now. I got a bit choked up seeing her get on the bus for the 1st time this yr.

Man I remember the most helpless feeling on the first day of school for our oldest. It just felt so wrong leaving them with people we didn't know. But I guess everyone goes through it.

Currently the buggy is a race car and I'm a high performance engine complete with sound effects and giggles from the 10 month old race car driver lol
