    The 01 was the last good year for the 7.3. 02 7.3 had headbolt issues. I would rock the piss out of that truck, after you toss the spikes.

    I think my problem is my wife really likes the truck. So much that I think it wouldn't be my work truck and she would take it and give me her Z71 silverado. The more I look at the truck the more I want it.
    1996 camaro Z28, Clayton racing 398, Rossler TH350 rmvb with brake, FTI billet race converter 4400, Dana S60 with 4.10's, 300 shot, Accel DFI controlled, UMI, Spohn, PA racing, QA1's, Baer brakes, 325/45/17 M&H, Caged, Corbeau's, Simpson, etc.
    From zero to fuck yeah in 3 seconds.

    Yeah, what everyone else said, go for it man! Change the lugs if you have to, but keep the wheels, that's pretty much what I want to put on my truck eventually. I've heard of people getting 100-150k out of tires that fit those rims...

    I have them on my 3500HD Chevy snatch truck, I've got 210k miles on the original set I bought with the truck. LOL

    Well that settles it then, those WILL be the next tires that go on my truck when the current set wears out, I can live with dropping the coin to get rim and tires if they can last that long!
