New from Harrisburg PA

Hey everyone.

I've been on this site for awhile actually, I originally registered so I could buy stuff from the sale section (great deals in there and somebody always has what I'm looking for strangely..). I also lurked around some of the other forums and was surprised to see what a tight knit family this place is.

I've had an F body since I was 19, I'm currently 22. My first one was a 94 V6 Firebird I bought used with 171,xxx miles on it. I didn't know a whole lot about cars and ended up blowing the motor up in that one. The guy I sold it to said it ended up just being an old motor, lots of play in the crank. The next one was my current z28, I bought November '09 as a DD. Probably not the best idea in hindsight seeing how bad PA winters can be. Banged it up a little bit, but she still chugs along. I actually have plans this weekend to buy a shell to swap this motor and transmission and everything over to. It's a 95 vert with SFC's and a 6 point cage already installed. I'd call that an upgrade

About me personally: I've worked the same job for the past 5 years, just got promoted to a big boy position last year, so I can finally think about grown up things like houses and stuff

lol. I attend school off and on for computer networking, someday I'll get a degree. I'm also into video games (xbox360), computers, aquariums, and a few other miscellaneous hobbies, none of them cheap of course.

I'm looking forward to being part of the LTX community, and was tossing around the idea of attending the shootout this year.

When I get home I might be able to find some good pics of the current one. New swap will definitely have a lot of pics to go along with it!
