    I was very surprised how much room there is to work with. I've worked on f-bodies before and this is cake compared to them. Only somewhat hard time I've had is with changing the plugs. I came from Mustangs and did a full top end rebuild on a 5.0 and the LT1 seems similar (and easier) so I haven't had a hard time doing much so far. Only thing I don't like is that damn optispark.

    I'm really surprised there's not more on here. Of course most people go the LSx route so it makes sense.

    True I've owned 3 fbodies and only had one go out and it was from a cracked cap letting moisture in. Owned one the last 5-6 years.

    Yea, this is a good place to be. Tons of info and a bunch of good people. If you're interested in the shootout, we can convoy there. I pass through Princeton on the way. It's a blast.
