I may be wrong but i have a feeling and my coworkers agree that since it has been this nice this long that this jan- may we are going to get bitch slapped hard. at least that is the way it has been around here in the past. we have got a little touch of winter here... trust me I tagged the wall in the gf's cavalier because of soft snow and black ice. but all in all i see jan-may being ugly

The latest news on the flooding is that I got home from Austin last night and got the Camaro started and it blew out a gallon of water but seems to be fine other than now I need a shifter cable for it. Looked at the TA and it does have some water inside it but it also started up fine. The 06 Avalanche was actually sitting in over 2 feet of water before Jeneen moved it and it got water in it too but not bad. I have a flooded out shed and toolbox, for some reason the youngest found a 700r4 trans pan floating in the yard that believe it or not isnt mine so now I have an extra. The lady that gave me the Camaro lost both her cars but she has 2 brand new ones sitting in her driveway so she made out there, if she hadnt given me the car it would have had 3 feet of water inside it and that would have done it in. I now have mud all over everything and its starting to stink so all this next week will be spent doing clean up. The rec room across the street from us has some pretty good damage to it and they have started tearing out the walls. I will also look in to weather or not the city of Vallejo wasted several millions of dollars in fixing the flooding issue around here only to run out of money and then tear it all out or not, this makes about as much sense as cooking a huge Thanksgiving dinner only to throw it all in the garbage because you dont have cranberry sauce but that seems to be about how the local government works around here and in this state. This is a nice quiet place to live believe it or not and the city has been aware of this for a long time so if they did do something stupid then I think the residents here need to hold them accountable for it. Christmas is still going to be at my house and even though this happened the family is fine and that is what really counts in the end, we are going to have the kids here and I am sure that Sam will want to look over his Camaro LOL. Merry Christmas all.

We're supposed to get 3-6 inches in southeast Michigan by Thursday morning. Glad I have this whole week off from work!
