Ive been kinda leaning towards a TH400, but Ive got a lot of friends that are PG fans that are trying to convince me to go that route.

Im also planning on running no intercooler. Been reading about the ebay ones and they get heat soaked real bad, and to buy a decent one is around 900 bones. Theres been a few people in my area getting away with it running e85, they claim their IAT's are normally around 20 degrees hotter than the temp out side. What are your guys thoughts?

Tons if guys over on turbofourms run eBay coolers. I'm putting one on and also plan a snow meth kit.

I also thermal coat everything. Nic industries make a great black heat disappating coating . For radiators, intercoolers, etc...

You really can't go wrong as long as you don't have a big pressure drop.

I've heard they work good on the street cruising but if you're at the track waiting in line to make a pass they can get heat soaked pretty easy, which wouldn't be a problem with you if your running water meth i guess. I got a couple buddies in the area with turbo car that have very different setups, One is a intercooled 402 with a gt47-88 and th400. The other is a non intercooled 370 with a gt55-94 and a powerglide. Both work well and are street driven to the track, raced, and driven back home. And both have ran the exact times. So im kinda torn between the two setups, I've been trying to pick the best from both.

I always wanted to do one of those N2o hallos on the intercooler... wouldnt that resolve the issues?

Mines so close to the radiator that the fan pulls air through the IC also. Might look into getting an IC and mount a fan to it.
