    Default Viper 5704. No Output??

Finally got around to finishing up my viper 5704 install. Tried it out late last night and no go. For some reason none of the 200ma negative outputs seem to work. The trunk release, aux 1 (train horns) and door locks are not actuating. I tested the trunk release and its not sending a ground when activated. I used a test light connected to 12+ and the red/white wire. Activated the trunk release on the remote. It sends the command and beeps saying success, yet nothing happens. No relay activation or test light illumination.

I haven't checked the outputs for the door lock relays but they as well as the trunk and horn relays, function when I send a ground to them bypassing the alarm. When using the alarm, nothing happens. Everything is pretty well tucked and hidden, thus getting to the wires are going to be a pain.

Sirens, and status light works. Alarm acts as everything is fine. There is just no output on the 200ma negative wires for the trunk release, aux 1, and door locks.

Am I missing a wire that needs to be connected in order for these outputs to work? Or is this unit busted (aka DOA)/in need of programming?

    Thanks in advance

Its not any help to your situation but I installed a remote start kit on my first 95 firebird and I couldn't get the door locks to function through the remote start fob. I vaguely remember there was something about the function of the factory locks that made it more difficult to get them to work. Maybe it had something to do with the factory keyless entry...
