Assuming the car makes the factory 286 hp, or whatever it was, and isnt tired at all... and you hit it with 100 (assuming that whole 100 is making it to the tires WHICH ITS NOT), you have a 386hp+/- car that is running slower than Miss Popos 14 second Genesis....

I have to agree with popo on this, I have a 52mm tb on my bolt on stocker and it didnt make a shit's difference at the track. I am makeing whopping (scarcastic) 335 at the wheels and cant muster a 12.9xx to save my life. My MPH is there but my 60' sucks. I cant get the juice to the tarmac. I either bog at launch or blow the tires off in 3 gears. The only reason i have the 52mm is cause it got it for a swap for some other parts. My suspension is wayyy lacking, I do have sub frame connectors and tubular LCA's & panhard, but i am on crap shocks and cut eibachs. If all you want to do is roll race on the streets then play away with other motor boltons, if you wann hook, spend the cash on good suspension. As for going back to a 48mm, you wont notice nothing at all.

i would actually think with stock heads/cam/intake a 52mm may be too much. all it will do is get restricted some wear else if not at the TB.

A 52mm is as big as you can go on a stock intake.

how do people port the stockers ... i know you can take it up to a 52mm but where do you buy the bigger blades for the larger opening?

do i just send it some place?
