My friend has converted a few sets. If you weld the one hole up, you technically need to get the head heat treated. That's what he told me anyways. He simply drills the hole out bigger, then taps it, and plugs it with an allen head plug with sealant.

Just got an email back from cfm. They still do the conversion for $400. I'm not sure who I contacted before.

Yes CFM did my old trick flows. Honestly I'd just sell heads if you have them and get lt1 heads. I got the new 21* trickflows from Advanced Induction. It's $400 of wasted money.
