T56 to Turbo 350 swap
I am seriously considering swapping my m6 to a turbo 350. The car is not a dd, al though I do drive it to work, and to the track every now and then.
What I'm wanting is a list of what's needed for the swap. If there's anything other than what I've put in my list below let me know.
1. Trans
2. Torque converter
3. Cross member
4. Shifter
5. Drive shaft made??
6. Trans cooler and lines
Edit:
7. 153 tooth flywheel. Balance??
What have I missed?
I'm thinking that I can sell my t56 to fund this project. Am I on the right track?Last edited by dzltek; 11-11-2012 at 06:39 PM. Reason: added to parts list

If you can find a th350 with a 9" tail you wont need a new drive shaft. I was looking into this for my catfish

remember your gonna need a 153 tooth flexplate. Dont know if the 4l60e flexplate will work a th350 convertor. Call summit's tech they might know.
ASE L1 Master Certified Tech's 9C1 T56. Yeah she's got a big butt. But watch her move it.

So a 153 tooth flex plate is all I missed? I don't think I have to change pedals, but im almost sure that if I sell my t56 that person will want the pedals too.
