Default Stepping away from the Trans Am for a while.........

I have found myself getting more and more upset with my car situation. It seams that every time I drive the thing a new scratch or rock chip shows up. Yesterday I got in the car, and the dash all of the sudden has a crack in it! Im scared to dip into my savings to do the mods I want as well. With my future in the Navy being uncertian at best. I think its just best to step away and leave the car in the garage for a while. Sorry I just had to get that off my chest. I hope this little break will change my outlook on the situation, because I really do love that car!

sucks to hear. But sometimes it helps to take a break. And let yourself relax a bit. Had to do the same with my TA. after tearing into the front end and seeing everything shot and needing replaced. i had to step away for about 5 months. But once i came back to it i was excited again.

Yeah I only live two miles from work, so I have just incorporated into my morning run. I think ill just drive the bird to church and car shows from now on. I was a little heated this morning because my wife got a ticket for her window tint and smoked tail lights last night. However I knew I broke the law and I am fine with making the H3 legal, and they were nice enough to just give her a fix it or ticket. It was just one thing after another. Too bad, It looked really good.

He said they were too dark and the break light was hard to see. Which lets face it, he's right. Picked up some aftermarket LED's, but Im not sure what Im going to do about the windows. Has anyone here removed tint before?

That and patience. People say not use a window scraper with a razor blade on it but when I had to take mine off I used a razor blade and my windows are fine. Your just doing the front two windows right?

Also, I know what you mean about having to just let go for a while. I had to let my Camaro sit for almost two years until I could get into it. I am so happy now that I got it running again.

Thank you and yes it will be just the front two windows. The tint shop quoted me thirty bucks to do it, so we will see. Thats not a lot so I might just have him deal with it. Im just a big fan of "You want it done right, do it yourself."

30$ is about right. That's actually a good deal and worth getting the hassle off of you haha. I scraped tint off without a heat gun before... let me tell you I wanted to kick a kitten by the time I was done.
