In most states (that have fault) any collision that occurs anywhere behind the driver seats.... will be fault of the person that hit the vehicle...

if some one hit my truck that was not paying attention/being stupid, i would go fucking ballistic! i see it way too much around here, car driving around that look like they just came out of a scrap yard! and just about every day at a few intersections i see fresh broken glass or oil dry on the ground. but people around here are just fucking stupid! a few friends have sold there bikes because there scared to ride them.
