Default First time on the dyno

Well I finally got the car on the dyno for the first time,it was 95 degrees out and we made 7 runs.
[COLOR=#000000][FONT=Calibri]We had some valve float issues but all in all I was veryhappy with the runs.

    397/387 is very respectable...

How were you seeing the valve float?

Nice numbers - looks like it wanted to peak around 6k but the valvetrain cut it off early.

Should have another ~10rwhp in there!

Not bad for a huge cam 236/244 .618/.617 110LSA I was amazed at the torque it made, o this is with LE1 heads too!

5700=6300 This is where it is occurring, it is really noticeable in the car.

Valve float occurs when the spring can't seat the valve before it opens again.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

So if we assume only 85% of your power is getting to the pavement, you've got 467 hp at the crank (397hp/85% = 467) unless you think you're hooking up really well & are losing less than 15%

That would be (467hp/355ci = )1.3 horses per cubic inch which is pretty amazing.

I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to use your build as a template. Do you know what kind of compression you're running?
