Oh, yeah.. it was bad.... and CLOSE....
UPDATE...
Just went through all of my leave time for the year that I had accumulated... I have 295.5 hours left...
At 40 hours a week, that means that I can only take off 7.5 straight weeks, until, I have to go on unpaid leave..... and thats assuming that I can go on UNPAID leave and they wont try to can me... Guess I have something else to discuss with my attorney....
Now for the good news.
As I had mentioned before, I had an MRI of my hip because my treating Physician believed there is a chance that I may have a laberal tear in the hip joint, which is causing MORE pain overall.... the MRI did not show a tear, but the Dr explained that laberal tears without a die injected first can be very difficult to detect....sooooo.... we took a shot in the dark and on Friday, I took a (I believe its a steroid) injection into my hip... and holy shit...., I have alot of relief... Now I can still feel the pain in my back, but there is a bunch of pain that is currently "missing" since the day after the injection......
Now I am on my pain meds again, which I take regularly till I force myself to work, till they totally leave my system, and the pain becomes unbearable again (then I stay home and take my meds)...all because I have to ration my time..UGH!
Anyways, now I need to contact my treating physician and get the MRI done with the DYE, however, we have proven that there is another RELATED issue, and Im hoping we can reverse my work status with the insurance company now.... we will see..
PS- if any of the spys are reading this ....THIS ^^^ is whats coming next.

Its like the least of my worries anymore.....
All Im concerned with is , if we have not gone to court yet to reverse this BS, will they try to can me when my LEAVE time runs out.... or, is it acceptable to take UNPAID leave?

Ahhh, so today...Monday...
I get up, I skip my meds, because I am gonna go to work, and do what I can.... Not to mention I dont want to burn up to much leave time to quickly.... I know that I am still not certified with my duty weapon, so Im just riding a desk.
I pull in at quarter of 7am... and am talking with one of the guys in the lot...That Officer says to me, "what are youdoing here, (insert other officer name here) said your not coming to work anymore." I explained to him that once my full duty actually consists of going out on patrol, that may very well be the case, but as of now, the chances of me hurting myself more, are low.... At that time the Chief pulls in, and there is something on the roof of his car. Being nice, I mention to him that there is something on it (he has a Cherokee, and is not that tall)... he says to me "SHIT, is it still up there?" grabs the item and heads inside.... no thanks, no laugh, no nothing... no biggie.
I follow inside to make sure I get credit for being there at 7am..... I sit down, and go through the notes and paperwork that was waiting for me since last week when I was off. The Chief has already gone into his office and closed his door ( a door that is always open) I can hear that low tone phone conversation that is done to keep people from hearing you.. then I can hear his text messaging going off non stop, maybe Im paranoid and it has nothing to do with me... but my gut tells me different.. I do some paperwork from 7-745, and I head over to the road crew garage for a small cup of coffee and to BS....
After being out there for a bit, I head back into the office, just as the Chief is heading out.. I make small talk, "heading out?" and am ignored as he goes out and locks the front door behind him.... I go back to my desk, and I check my emails....
I decide to call my physical therapist to see if I can reschedule my appointments to later in the day, so I dont have to burn up 4 hours for a 1.5 hour PT appointment. I get it changed to later in the day... GREAT, but now what.
Realizing there is nothing to do, I get my duty weapon out... break it down, and start cleaning it... the damn thing all but shines after 45 minutes of cleaning....
Now I sit there some more, and answer the phone a few times... At 1230 I eat an Italian hoagie that one of the road crew guys picked up for me... then I head back up to my desk. I BS with the secretary for a bit, mess around with my flashlight that needed a bulb that had been stolen while I was away.....
2pm rolls around, and the secretary leaves (she only works 4 hours a day)... I stay for another 15 minutes then head to my PT appointment.... Thats right.... 7hrs and 15 minutes, to clean a gun... eat lunch , drink coffee.... all because there is no light duty work for me to do, and I am not qualified to do full duty, which allows me to have an excuse not to stay home and burn up my leave time... and this all costs the twp, $33.22/hr.... oh well.
So all that time, no contact with the Chief other than when I arrived. I meet with my physical therapist at 3 and I do my routine... he tells me to make sure I put no less that 1.5 hours in before I leave because the Insurance company is calling and now wanting my exact check in and check outs to PT... I ask him why they would do that... he explains that they usually do that for people that leave work for PT then go off and do their own thing afterwards while on the clock....
WTF?!?!?! I use my own leave time because I have to for PT, and I even rescheduled it to be later in the day to not affect my work shift to much.... why does it matter... MY LEAVE TIME, I can do what I want with it as long as its approved... and the Chief (in writting) pre approved my leave time...
I dont get it... Im exhausted... Im not a liar... Im not a faker... I allow so many proceedures be done to me just for the hope that the next one will be the one to make it stop hurting..... Its just a game to them... its a game that I am like the visiting team, however I have no control over any of my players....(if that makes sense)
We will see what 2morro brings....

That's about all you can do at this point man. Wish there was something else I could tell ya, but there's not much more that I can think of past what we already discussed.
"Only in the Corps can you put three guys in a room with an anvil and a rubber mallet, come back 15 min later, and the anvil is broken, the rubber mallet is missing, and nobody saw a damned thing!"

What the hell is wrong with these people it makes no sense for your chief to act so immature and ignore you and avoid you. Why does he care if you are really hurt or not? He doesn't have to pay a dime for any of it?? Its hard to believe that people turn on others that may have done many good things for them for something that can't even be helped. Wow!!!!
What are your options legally?96 Trans Am LT1 A4......2 broken rods
94 Camaro Z28 LT1 M6 LTs & Y, 3" SLP DOTL catback, custom CAI, and LT4 crane 1.6 RR..Best time 13.65@ 103 2.11 60ft(still on autocross setup)

I know.. but on a good note... my hip injection the other day (friday) really did alleviate some pain... so my treating physician will be ordering another MRI with dye, to try to get a better look at the problem.... then we may be able to get me feeling better. Its not making my back stop hurting, but you know when so much hurts it feels like one big pain.... well for now, my one big pain has gotten smaller.
