    Thumbs up 93 ECU (M6)

I've got two for sale as it turns out my system was fine. Asking 100.00 shipped. For us 93's you already know how rare they are to find and I'm not looking to make a killing off a rare item...just want to get a little less than what I paid for them.

    Silas,

My dad is looking for a spare ecm for his 93 corvette. His is an auto trans though, do you know if a chip can be burnt to change that?

Neil, I tried and it's a PITA going through all the steps. 30 mins on there and still didn't get no where, so I was frustrated. I may try again though if I can pul that kind of coin out of them.

I'm unsure of that. Good question though.

If you do buy the ecm then I will trade you chips because I was looking at having to have mine burned for the M6 from my 1993 Z28 A4 and this would save us both a few bucks (about $75.00) if your interested let me know.

I think we would have to get one burnt anyways due to tire and rear end ratios being different but I'll just give you the chip if we go that route. His pcm actually dried out and healed itself but its only a matter of time before the corrosion sets in.

Oh ok I didnt think about the whole gear size thing but thank you and I will still send you mine even if all you use it for is a paperweight.

Sounds good. Finding out for sure tomorrow that all is needed is a new chip to make it work in an auto car.

Please let me know if mine will work for you without any mods so as to save a few bucks, specs are 1993 Z28 A4 323 rear gears.
