Default What i have been working on....

Some of you may know from fb that I became part owner of a custom shop in addition to my day job. Figured I would post up some pics of what I have been up to and what has been taking all of my free time up....

First up is a Nova wagon.
All nova wagons start life as a 4 door car. To give you an idea of what this car started life as, here is a random picture of your basic nova wagon...

Now on to what has been done with the car. Car is chopped, side widows are 6" tall and windshield is 8" tall. The rear doors have been deleted. The front doors are now shaved and suicide and use the stock hinges just flipped to oposite sides of the car. The car has a 10 point cage, all fabricated floors and huge tubs for the rear. Rear tires are 22 1/2 wide by 36 on a 15" custom made wheel. I don't have pics of them on the car yet, just pics with rollers on it. All new glass will actually be lexan. Engine wise the car will have a dart 498 with 871 blower on it. This car will be street driven and should be one Sharp car rolling around. Paint wise, top is senergy green camaro paint and the bottom is black. We faded the scallops on the front fenders as well as the Cowl hood as requested by the customer.

    Here are some pics...

This car should be leaving the shop tonight and the owner will be wet sanding and Buffing it out himself as well as installing the drive train. I will be doing all the wiring and harness fab at a later date for him.

I will post up some more of our projects when I have more time. They range from a vw bus cut in half and married two different years together and radically shortened. I am also doing a 1976 trans am paint, ls1 swap with 4l60e and functional shakers on the hood. I am wrapping up a lt1 swapped 1986 elcamino with s60 rear end and complete umi suspension and wilwoods at all four corners. Doing a candy paint job on a 86 iroc. Finishing up a a old 60's Chevy with a pearl while paint job. And last but not least an 86 gta procharger, 12 bolt and spohn suspension with steaming set UPS at all corners. So yeah, I have been very busy. Add to all this I am moving the shop to an old firestation on the 1st of September. Needed to expand our space and have a better location. Also adding some services to what we already do including full details and tires, wheels and exhausts.

That thing is wicked awesome!! Would you by chance be able to take any pics of where the subframe mounts to the firewall? I have a 63 SS on the lift right now that needs those connectors welded back on cause the PO hacked em off to install an early 70s Camaro front end... Which cause the wheels to stick out of the fender wells a good 2".

    Thanks guys.

As for the mounts, it is a complete custom front. It's made to take the whole front clip off with 8 total bolts. Two bolts each side on the upper fender rails at the firewall, one on each side of the lower fenders, and two on the lower core support. There is nothing on the front that resembles anything stock. the front subframe is welded in on plates that tie the cage and firewall together.

Help, yeah we always need help with how busy we have gotten.
