    Default Engine swap

I have a 95 camaro and doing a engine swap with a 94 lt1 (that what i was told) and I noticed that there was a nock sensor on both sides of the block, can i replace the one on the driver side with just a bolt? Can I swap water pumps? The opti is the same and the cam pins messure the same also witch i thought you had to swap the opti and cam? Where is the engine code on the motor and where is a good place to decode the codes so I can really tell if its a 94?

95's came with a vented opti, and later produced 94's had the vented as well. The earlier 94's did not. If the 94 motor had a vented one you'll be fine and the water pumps will be the same. Not too positive on the knock sensors, someone will chime in
