Headlights Don't Work Correctly
I had my headlight bezels off when I got the front end painted, I had them flipped up with the switch but my friend accident thought they were manually cranked up and he over cranked it once. Not sure if this relates to anything but here's the problem.
It was raining like hell this morning and was really dark so I put my headlights on.... ok, they didn't go up??? I tried again by turning the switch off and on again, they went up.
Half way to work the storm cleared up, got bright out so I turned them off, they went down.
Almost at work and its raining like hell again and looks like night time so I turn them back on, same problem. Only goes up on the 2nd try.
I got off work, tried turning them on. They didn't go up?!?!?!?! I tried it again AND THEY DID.
After they went up, I turned them off, tried again, it worked? WTF????!?!!!!

The light and motor is two different things. As in once you flip the switch tje lights come on even if in the down position.
Sounds to be an electrical problem. Mabe the switch itself?

Either the switch or the headlight control module is acting up. Although my ws6 used to do that if I turned the switch too fast. Try letting it hit the parking light spot then hit the lights.

Try unplugging the electrical connector on the headlamp control module, clean it with electrical contact cleaner and connect it again. I had a similar issue before

If your not sure where it is its behind the drivers side headlight. Square roughly 4-6 inches but its really thin. Has 2 or 3 plugs if I remember right. Haven't had a bird for awhile but that's as best I remember

I know exactly where it is, I've had the entire front end off when I was repairing it from the wreck lol. It's down near the airbox, it's attached to one of those gizmos lol

If the problem persists, I'll check the module out.
