I put the new opti on at 67,000 miles. The car now reads 118,000 miles - same opti.

I've been hearing good things about the Chandler Motorsports optisparks. My dad put one in his car awhile back. $80 is a nice price!

Mine was literally kicked across a backyard. Been running fine for about 10k miles.

I'll have to check into that one. We are building my cousin a LT1 for his late 80's monte, kind of pondering if we
want to tackle the LSx conversion. Kind of depends if I want to take time to do the harness....cause his patience
level for something like that is short and then it goes flyin and other stuff across my garage. And if doing one I might
as well do one also and sell my MSD opti to bring cost down a little.
Be nice to be able to live tune the car.97 Comp T/A #161 out of 164 LT1 383 stroker, TPIS/AFR heads, JE pistons, 9.3cr, extreme energy comp cams 224/230, Howards billet rods 5.85, Callies dragon slayer crank, 2 bolt mains converted to 4 bolt billet, Mildon oil pump, MSD opti, 6AL, boost retard, HVC 2 blaster coil, BBk 58mm, 50lb injectors, 3200 stall. Took 600b off to help fund twin turbo.
