    Default What program to use to read free scan datalogs?

    I datalogged some at the track last night but i couldn't get my datamaster to work right so i had to use free scan and now i cant find a program to open the files tl correctly read them.

    Depends on what selection you used. Did you select "Log ECU Com's to disk" or "CSV Logging". I dont know what CSV logging does or how to read it. But when you select Log ECU Com's to disk" it saves the file as Excel spreadsheet. I always use Microsoft Excel to read the data. Hope this helps.

    Csv stands for "comma separated value". there is a post in lswho's guide to tuning that describes how to arrange it in excel or open office where it means something. Reply #26

    I logged with both options just to make sure i got one good log. I appreciate the help i will try it tonight.

    Went 8.60 on motor didnt spray because of traction issue. Car kept spinning. 4000 converter and stock suspension are prolly the reason for that. But im running mh racemaster bias plys and im not sure if im impressed with them tho
