Its been awhile since i kept up with the android platform, but correct me if im wrong. 2.1 is Eclair. Popo8, you should just root you phone to get a newer version. If you need help, ill be more than happy to! The best site to use is xda developers. Thats where i get all my roms and kernels.

Ok so i looked into it, 2.0 and 2.1 are both eclair... popo8, just root!

Check out xda developers, they have walk throughs that are very good for just about anything you could want to do on your phone. You could also try Droid forums.com (i think thats it) if you don't already go there.
