Anyone else noticed a high Douche value in the late GTO drivers? Honest question..

I have yet to meet any D-Bag late model GTO owners. I know or have met about a dozen Goat owners with cars 04-06 stock to wild, and they are all a bit older (late 30's to 60) and are all pretty cool. I can honestly say that I have met more douche F-body owners by far, and I got my fair share of younger Vette owners with flat brim hats at the OCMD Cruise that made me want to get out of the car scene altogether.

Key to being a douchebag:
1) Own and wear a flat brim hat
2) Repeat Step 1

Note to self: Scrap the flat brimmed hat idea...

Yeah man, I hear ya. I've several friends who run classic goats, one of which also runs an 06, great guys. Car guys to the BONE! I told them about the OP experience and they chalked it up to the guys who buy performance cars and who's experience with the car is limited to driving, washing and waxing. We all agreed that NO Car-guy would take umbrage with a well modified driver touting his ride, beyond the usual back and forth banter of course, and NO ONE of any level of self respect would talk smack and then fail to stage up at a track they're within range of, to back it up.

Anywho... I appreciate all the input fellas. I'd just come off the ban by the head-skirt and was needing' to vent. Vent completed...

LOL... I've met those guys myself. FYI: It doesn't get any better when ya crush 'em. But DAMNATION! The excuses... 'Missed a shift'... 'Picked up a miss down low...', 'Didn't know we were racin'...'

It's all good tho'... Being a winner has its benefits.
