    Default I need help Please

Ok so I have a new problem.
So my car runs absolutely perfect but my rpm needle started jumping tonight.
it does not effect the way the car runs but I can't visually see what rpm I'm at because it just jumps/wiggles between 0 & 2xxx.
Oh & my check engine light is not on & I know it works because it flashes on start up.

Sounds like your gauge cluster may be on its way out.

I see you're a 93. Did a later gauge cluster get swapped in? Do you have an ignition box on the car? Is the tach filter still in place?

Is that the little black box on the harness that all 93's have?

Thanks for the replies 95impySS & Fastbird.
Today my problem went away but im sure it will come back.
So I got the car last September but the tach seems to be the original, I don't have an ignition box & my tach filter is still in place.
I forgot to mention last night was the biggest rain storm in my area this year & I was driving in it when my problem began.
I avoided all puddles so if anything got wet I'd be surprised.
