    Default rear idea

well i have to swap the backing plate when i install the new brakes so i figure since im knocking out the suspension as well i might as well work on the rear a bit. I would love to put a 8.8 or 9 inch but cant afford those. what are some ways i can beef up the 10 bolt. im also looking to swap to 3.73 are there any reccomended brands i should use?

Beefing up a 10 bolt is useless man, they can still snap with stock #s and sticky tires, put the money away for a new rear... however ways to beef it up are a beefyer cover, and weld the tubes to the housing

I honestly kind of figured but I also don't really intend to put slick on it anytime soon. Its more of a weekend toy than a track car

Best thing to do is find someone who is selling a used housing and snatch it up. Rears are not anything resembling cheap.

Check out quick performance. Their brand 9in seems like a good deal. Under a grand for housing/TA bracket/axles.
