Back to F-Bodys
Just wanted to give an introduction for myself since I finally registered. My name is Cam and while I'm not new to F-bodys, I am new to the LTX platform. I previously owned a 00' Z28 M6 which I laid down a best time of 13.31 at 108.9 (A 747 could have a better 60' time). I recently picked up a 94 Formula A4 for 450 bucks with a blown head gasket and a fresh trans. I plan on lurking around and searching alot during my rebuild this spring and the complete tear down in the winter. Also thanks for any future help in my build.

Welcome aboard man. While the LT platform isn't the LS, it's still a more than capable motor generation and will provide plenty of fun.

Wow $450? That leaves PLENTY of room to build a nasty motor.

Ill try to post pics as soon as possible. The motor build has already started with ported intake, heads and a Lt4 Hotcam. I was able to pull the the heads this past Sunday and found a lifter completely gutted and a snapped push rod. I already have a lead on another block which will get the full treatment.

Here are some pics as requested...
Was told it was only a head gasket, found a surprise in the lifter valley

Just your basic A4 Formula...It does have subframe connectors and full exhaust already. Also don't mind the garage, just moved in and havent had time to get all my stuff to its proper place. (or a proper drain pain, only PS fluid though.)
