Default It feels good to be home!

As some of you knew, I have been deployed the last few months, and I just got back a few days ago. It wasn't my first deployment, and it won't be my last, but it always is amazing to return home. Food tastes ever so better, being re-united with family and friends, getting small privelages I've been without like getting to operate a vehicle other than the jet I fly (as in I get to drive a car again). It's just everything, and It's awesome to be home!

    Woot woot!

Thanks again everyone. This weekend I should get a break to relax. I've been working on my house non-stop since I got home, sometimes both day and night. I'll be posting new pics in my thread shortly...

It's kind of weird being back. Doing normal things like walking through a grocery store, or putting gas in the car. Just normal people stuff. The best I can describe it would be like the end of the movie "The Hurt Locker" where he returns home and goes grocery shopping and you can sense a little of what he is feeling.

It's hard to turn off like a light switch from going in and out of day after day of flying combat sorties where guys are dying, and you are doing everything possibe to help them out, then all of a sudden it all ends, and you find yourself living a "normal" life again.

This probably isn't making any sense to most of you.
