Lol, now I am just playin' with you.

I think you are going to have a very stout setup Larry. I would think with your heads and intake combo alone, even with the P1SC, you still should be making more power at the wheels than me in the end. I am really happy to see you finding the bugs in your system and upgrading. I am hoping we can line up during the next shootout for fun. I will enjoy it as a friendly competition. Unlike some Mustang and LSX owners that I make it a point not to make the competition a friendly one...
There is actually a pole to get me to race.... we will see.

Well, I haven't been around for months. It seems like you are on your way just fine, and have tons of time before the shootout. Knowing what a fellow die-hard LT1 guy you are, why wouldn't you race it? You are not one of those guys that drops that kind of coin, spends that kind of effort to have a beast, and then doesn't race it because he is afraid it will break or something are you?

Really its just because of the distance. For me the fun is the 1400+ drive... not the 1/4 mile...

I don't get it. You don't like racing? You wouldn't want to finally put to use the whole purpose of putting together a fully forged, stroked, blown LT1 at what is the summit of all opportunities (the LTX Shootout) in front of the friends who respect you more than anyone?

That AC... that leather interior... that 20+ mpg..... THAT is what I like about driving. Hammering on it for 1/4mile, does not do "it" for me.

Okay bro, I can respect that. But why all the go fast parts if you never plan on going fast?

I believe he is. A CMM, ProEngineer/Solidworks/Audesk Inventor (Some sort of parametric 3D modeling software), and a multi-axis (I would think a 6 axis would do it) CNC mill could make fairly short work of it (if you have lots of time to spend on it). Really, what he's doing isn't all that difficult if you have the tools above (if your'e an engineer ) The foam modeling that he was doing just helps plan the project easier. I believe the piece he machined was not cast (billet).

I wish I had the knowledge to design and make something like that. With tools like those the mod possibilities would be endless.
