need a 93-94 spline driven optispark

I have a 94 MSD opti. Not sure what's not working on it. Has trouble turning on but once the car is on it runs fine. Maybe the optical sensor is bad?

How much? Im not looking to spend too much as its going to be chopped up in the name of science (tinkering).
