    Default lt1 in a 77 corvette

My boss and I are putting a 94 camaro lt1 in a 77 vette. I have a 93 vette dress up kit so it will look awesome! He bought 185cc trickflow heads and a hotcam kit. A painless harness will make the install easier. We are trying to figure out fuel delivery, any info would be appreciated. Ill post pics as we go.

Sounds like a cool project. I am toying with carbing my 355 ltx for my 56 chev project. I think that ltx transplants in older cars is so much more interesting than lsx. As for fuel delivery, you need a electronic pump and a set of lines. I would get braided lines and run them. You can tap a return into the tank. Pump could be external. One reason I want to go carbed is so I can only run one line. Going to use belt driven mechanical pump for my application if I go this route.

Engine is a 355, 185 tfs heads, lt4 hotcam, edelbrock airgap, and a tfs 58mm tb. Ran a summit electric fuel pump. The car had a factory 1/4" return line and a 3/8 feed. Replaced all rubber hose with braided and just flared factory hard line for -4 and -6 AN fittings. Used a painless harness and a fast chip tune. Had issues getting it started, had him get the injectors cleaned but they got seized up while sitting for about a year. Put in another set and it finally started. Took a few weeks to figure that out. Now we are trying to figure out what detent cable will work with the th350 I got the correct bracket on the intake off a 92-3 vette but no parts stores show a detent cable for a 92-3 vette. I thought they run a 700r4.

I'm not much on auto info, but I don't think a TH350 has a detent cable, I believe they have a kick down cable. Check with @Cahall , He can shed more light on your problem. He's the man!!
