The Mancave (new trailer)
Here are a couple of photos of my recently purchased 38 foot enclosed gooseneck trailer. Yes, a company owned it before me, yes that shit is coming off, and yes, it's BRIGHT FREAKING RED! Almost makes me want to paint it to look like the american flag or plaster Marine Corps moto shit all over it lol

it has new roof vents and has internal lighting. It is also lined with plywood from floor to ceiling. The only thing missing is tie down cleats since the trailer wasn't originally a car hauler, but that will be corrected in short order. Overall I don't think I did to bad for 5400 dollars."Only in the Corps can you put three guys in a room with an anvil and a rubber mallet, come back 15 min later, and the anvil is broken, the rubber mallet is missing, and nobody saw a damned thing!"

Most of the ones I was looking at were between 6 to 10k depending on the options. I paid a fair price that is a little lower than what they normally go for. And I'll tell you what, I'm never owning a gas truck ever again nor do I want to haul bumper pull ever again. That thing hauls SO nicely lol. And that 7.3 turbo diesel doesn't hardly notice that thing back there either.
Plus, that was also the smallest enclosed gooseneck available for sale in my area.Last edited by 94Blackbird; 11-20-2011 at 11:00 PM.

It's going to be a while before I get any decent pics of the car with the wheels. I work all day everyday this week and the car is going in for a 8.8 franken-axle on thursday. I need to clean it up as well, but I'll get some pics once I get the car back.

Nice that price for a 38' goose neck, I'd say you stole it! I wish I would have bought a 3/4 ton instead of a 1/2 ton truck, it's really limiting what size trailer I can pull.

That's part of the reason why I just bought a 01 F250 7.3 powerstroke about a week before I picked up this trailer.
