until today since 1994 i had a MINT...
Dashpad... F)*(... and it was still mint, then i went to lift the ear up a little to see what bolts i had to take out to get my HVAC controls out and POP POP POP POP POP all from raising it up 1/4" and now i have a pile of dashpad... DAMNIT! just thought i would share, i was the only one i knew with a mint unreplaced dashpad, now im just like the rest with one exception, when it popped it literally shattered into a bunch of pieces ...

That sucks exactly how both of my last ones broke....... didnt take much.
Now I have a brand new one.... it appears to be ALOT more giving.

yeah i put one in the 99 TA i just sold that was OEM but it just never really looked like the stock GM piece, im gonig to try to get the other dash from a friend that was gonna gift it to me HOPEFULLY he knows what he is talking about and the pad is in tact. if not thast another $200 out of budget ill be... the QA1s and cage broke me... now the dash pad... fuck, will i ever finish this car????

i think its about time to post my progress in a build thread here lol... i have SOOOOOO many pics and new parts, i really wish i had done one thing at a time rather than ripping EVERYTHING out of the interior and front end... lol now with the cage, out comes the rearend/tank/exhaust LOL!
