    Default rear seal leak will not stop!

    Put trans in car rear seal will not stop leaking, replaced the seal and is still doing it, but only does it under a load when u drive it like a grandma it doesn't leak,

    Any ideas anyone? Help plz

    You talking about the bushing that goes on the tail shaft right?

    You mean the transmission output shaft seal is leaking? or the rear main seal?

    If its the trans seal I would suspect too much fluid in the pan. All the seals I've seen have a "weep" hole in the seal itself. Id say when it gets to pumping up the fluid is not returning to the pan fast enough and its just blowing out.

    Also check the vent tube. If its plugged it will force fluid out the seals. Driveshaft yoke could be chewing the seal up if its nicked too.

    Is it the same trans that came out of it? Was it rebuilt or something?

    Na came out of a 94 camaro with 150000 miles and sat for ten yrs

    If the seal was new, the rear bushing might be worn out causing the driveshaft to wobble.
