Ferrari 288 GTO
I have always loved this car.
BUT I had always seen it as some dream car that was unattainable
I was looking around and I found out that you could convert a readily available 308 (on ebay for <30K) since the 288 is the race homologation version of the 308.
I found a guy who sells the Entire body in hand laid fibreglass for 13K
that is the kit
Man I want one so bad. I actually just found a wrecked 308 for 2K
I finally got the guts to tell my wife, and she said ANOTHER CAR??? haha97 Trans Am WS6, LT1 factory 4bolt freak, M6,
68 Firebird 400, YC 400, 670 heads M4
14 Fiat 500e, 83kW motor, 24kWh 364 V battery

Yea they are amazing looking cars, the last 288 I saw for sale was $320,000
so having a clone for 10% of the price of the real one isnt bad. Plus its not like its a Fiero or MR2 underneath its a legit Ferrari, just with a "widebody-kit"97 Trans Am WS6, LT1 factory 4bolt freak, M6,
