ss hood?????

hey guys and gals I have been looking for a new hood for my car. It seems all I can find is fiberglass or really expensive ones. My question is, is there a company that specializes in our hoods that can paint them as well? and is fiberglass a bad option? I have zero paint experience and wouldn't want to dick the hood up so they would have to be able to paint it. I'm particulary looking for a SS hood with a quaser blue paint. and whats realistic on prices for hoods?

Quick question but what do you find wrong with fiberglass that you're saying it's all you can find? It's far lighter than the stock hood and there is nothing wrong with it...

i got mine from rksport. i think i paid around 500 4 it and its fiberglass. slp sales one that a lil diferent for about 750

I don't reallly find anything wrong with the fiberglass hood, i actually would like to have one but you have to do a bunch of prep work to them and paint them...... And I'll be the first one to admit i pretty much butcher any paintjob that gets put in front of me.... Are they fiberglass ones fairly easy to paint cause i have some friends that paint that could shoot it possibly????
