Whats the difference between these crank hubs? and which is correct..

The bottom, darker colored came off my old engine.
I would like to know what the longer one came off of and to make sure the one that came off my car is the correct one. (the previous owner was NOT very smart with some of the repairs to this car)James

The longer of the two is for a Roadmaster/Impala/Caprice (3.99-4.09" overall length). You do NOT want to use this hub in your f-body as the added length won't allow your accessories to line up. Use it, and you'll be tossing belts left and right.
The shorter of the two is a F/Y-body hub, but it depends on it's overall length. If it is 3.519" long, it's for an OBDII car. If it's 3.419" long it's for a 96+ OBDII car (the shorter hub is to allow for the CPS reluctor ring). Since you have a 95 car, you need the one that's 3.519" long.-Joe-

I had both hubs laying around when putting my engine together and by accident, I put on the long hub from a roadmaster lt1. Long story short, the belt does not line up and it's a pita to change with the motor in the car. Use the short one.
