New Security System for the yard

Beautiful dog! I grew up around German Sheps and Belgian Malinois. My dad used to train and breed them. I could never own any other kind of dog after being around them for so long. Smart as hell and make both excellent personal training/guard dogs as well as family dogs.

I <3 doggys Wile your training, make it a point to train him not to take food from other people. I hate to be the only downer in this thread, but since he is a security dog it can be dangerous. We used to have dogs in the yard of our shop to keep people out. People got smart and would feed them antifreeze soaked hot dogs, sandwiches etc. They would get sick, die and then we'd get robbed. It was terrible and we eventually stopped using guard dogs.

Dunno how crappy the area your in is but it's something to think about.

Dang man, sad story there, thanks for the in site on that. I don't live in a bad area, just kind of a "heads up" in case someone does come around.
