Contact Lonnies Performance, he can get you the BBC hub and timing cover built for you. You won't have to go around piecing it together and trying to get things done on your own w/ hassle.

^ Good idea...except for spending an ass-load of money.
Lonnie's is good stuff, and good service...but I sourced my own stuff or made it myself, or had someone local provide machining services...and I did it all for less than half of what I would have spent with Lonnies.

This is a "whatever floats your boat" type of deal.

The timing cover modification is very simple, and any competent machine shop can do it. Like I said, Blackbird and I have the part number for the correct seal. All you have to do is tell the machine shop the end result you need.

The timing cover machined for a larger hub from EFI connection is not for the LT1 specific hub. ATI told me the part number listed was just a larger diameter hub but it was actually much shorter than the LT1 specific unit. ATI made good though and machined me a custom LT1 specific hub with the larger OD so I didn't have to get a new timing cover.

so do i just need to call ATI and ask them for the hub i need? also what is the part # for the dampener you are using?

i just went through your thread on LS1 tech post by post, but did not see any part numbers for stuff. i will probably be asking you and QC97Z a lot of questions about the set up with the EFI setup.

Standard 8-rib pulley for the serpentine system? Yes.

    update,

    bottom end;
    Billet mains
    Callies Dragonslayer crank
    Callies rods
    Custom CP pistons
    Cloyes DR
    Moroso 7.5 pan
    Melling pump/pick up
    ARP studs

Talking to the shop, it was also suggested that i run 10:1, rather then the 9:1 i was thinking.

all i know is with the time researching and what i am going to drop i really hope to put down some big numbers.
