My son's car is alive!
Got to work out a few bugs but she moves and drives and sounds great. His engine is in it and it runs great. He gave it a good wash and should be ready to finish up the rest tomorrow. Im glad I could make his dream come true. He is stoked having dad's old car.

congrats to the both of you!!! truly a special day.
what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that allow me to do with things that would be a nightmare for people like you.

Thank you. He loves it and treats it like its a million dollars. I made him promise me if he ever wants to part ways with it, I get dibs on buying it back from him. It's just weird seeing him drive my old car. I admit it was hard seeing him drive off in it the first time alone. He's a great kid though. Never once been in trouble for anything and a great news on his shoulders. I am proud of him and happy his dream came true. Started with a beautiful 91 z roller we were going to build, to having the opportunity to have "dads toy". Only took him four years to make it all come to life.
