well now it looks like the deal i was hoping to get on the P1 might fall through so, im just saving as much as i possibly can to hopefully get a D1. though them sticker prices on the D1 is like a knife in the eyeball!
but hope fully when i get back i can sell off a lot of my "spare" parts i got. almost 2 full drive trains, and a lot of random prats hear and there from the old setup i was thinking.Last edited by CamaroZGuy; 06-07-2011 at 12:21 PM.

Get rid of it!
There's people selling D1's all over the place. Just save up, wait for the right deal, and pull the trigger!'97 Z28...Sleeper

^ Nice. Now you have to get a D1. A P1 won't push enough through those heads
I'm not even maxing my 210's out...and I'm on an F1.

you should be able to hit ur hp goal easily with the d1. i had a very small le blower cam with off the shelf dart heads and i was able to get 530 to the wheels, so some afrs with a le cam should be able to make even more. good luck.

well i updated my first post a little. as of know i am still going to use a P1 since i am NOT building the car for the track, i want a fun to drive FI street car that will only sometimes see the track (T&T days, adn the shoot out). i have talked to Procharger reps a few times and i should be able to hit my goals with out completly maxing out the P1. i will be trying to sell off the twin IC that are comming with the P1 kit and im going to run a FMIC. now for big $$$$ items left are just the short block and the rear. i jsut need to get back to the states now so that i can start this project.

My 02 cents. Going with a P1SC is probably the thing that seems like the best idea right now, but you will be forever kicking yourself for later. Trust me, you will save money by waiting until you can afford the D1 or D1SC instead of getting the P1SC now, spending the money on the tune, then down the road realize you should have done the D1 or D1SC to begin with and sell you used P1SC then end up buying the D1 and getting another tune later (not to mention the headache from it all as well). I have yet to meet a single P1SC guy who didn't regret going with a larger unit. Especially if you are already going to be spending the big money on the internals needed for either blower unit.
60# injectors will be fine. I am running a maxed out D1SC on Mototron 60# injectors, and I still have a little bit of duty cycle left in them.
If you do go with a larger blower unit, I would reccomend going with both an FMIC, and Meth injection. If you only are going to utilize one of the two, definately go with Meth injection. It will give you the ability of safely running more boost and timing, and it is very inexpensive compared to running race gas.
Other than that, it seems like you are on the right track.1995 Z28 - disfunctional now, perhaps insane after its "treatment"

as of know i am going with the P1sc, i know its not as big but i should still be able to pull the power i want out of it. and as i said the FMIC is a deff, with the compresion ration im shooting for with the FMIC i should have no problem running the 12psi safely on pump gas with out the meth. as i have said i am building a solid engine that will be able to handle a lot more then what im going to throw at it, and thats intentional since i want a street car.
i do not want to sound like i am just pissing on your guys susgeation because i am not. i am new to the FI world and i can use as much info as i can get. and who knows what will change in my set up between now and next summer when i plan on having it finished.
CALL911, also if you dont mind could you shoot me a PM with a basic lay out of your set up? i just like to see what others are running.
