speed gauge wont work

i just bought this 95 z28 and it has had the 98 swap done out side and in but he said had to put the trans am cluster in there and everything works but the speed meter rpm gas temp all fine i though it was cluster so we tryed one out of my buddys car but same thing what can it be?

hmmm they might have done the swap improperly or maybe a connection in the back wasn't soldered correctly, I see what I can find but if you need a good source for wiring diagrams to reference try shbox.com
