Here is an old vid of my 95 z28 m6 vs my brother-n-laws evo. he thought for sure his newly purchased evo would easily outrun my car. lol! now this 96 i have runs way better than my 95 so i am gonna have to give him another whippen! lol!

I bought the car about four years ago from a guy in saltville, va when i got it , it had a powerdyne sticker on it and the guy told me it did have a supercharger on it but he took it off because it messed up. He also said it had a cam and airflow research heads, edelbrock shorty headers,centerforce stage 3 clutch, aluminum driveshaft, ford 9" rearend with 3:73 gear and a flowmaster catback exhaust. Now mind you i wasnt a v8 guy i had previously owned dsm's turbo and non-turbo so i knew nothing about v8's. So i bought the car took it to my uncles the next day to show it off ( he has a 71 camaro with a 496 BB and cousin has a 91 camaro with built 355). He then went over the car and it didnt have the afr heads and he said it didnt sound like it had a cam at all. the edelbrock headers were rusted bad so first thing i replaced them with bbk shorties then the opti went out and i ordered the entire msd kit ( msd opti,msd coil, msd 6al box, msd wires etc.) thats when thanks to shoebox i found that the engine in my car was from 93 not a 95. so i fiqured the guy blew the old motor up with the supercharger and then replaced it and sold it to me. the run against the evo is right after the install of the bbk's it is open y-pipe. the only other thing i done to the car was c5 wheels with 275-40-17 M/T et streets on the rears and a 100shot nitrous express kit. Which destroyed the clutch 1st time out replaced it with a centerforce stage 2 clutch ( money reason) but the guy lied again the shop said it looked like it was a factory clutch. the one thing he didnt lie about was the ford 9" rearend as far as big mods. and i say if it di have a cam it was a mild one i pulled athe valve covers once and it had gold series 1.5 roller rockers also. Cant wait to get my newly purchased 96 up and gong it seems to be way faster than the 95 ( according to my butt dyno lol!) just need a couple things ( 02 sensor, lt4 knock module, and a tune!)
