    Default Monsoon Headunit Help

Well the screen on my headunit the shows what radio station Im listening to and the time does not work. It doesnt light up or anything. Is that something repairable? I kinda want to keep the stock unit so my steering wheel buttons operate, but will buy an aftermarket if I need to. Also if I adjust the volume really quick it doesnt do anything, I have to turn it slow. Anyone else have that problem?

And my damn antenna is stuck down. How hard is it to change to a regular type antenna instead of a motorized one? Or should I just take my pliers and pull it up.

Im just gonna pull it. The Cd player doesnt work either. Is there anyway to hook up an aftermarket headunit to the steering wheel controls.

Why not just get one from a salvage yard?

i second the salvage yard or on sale section...i see them on sell very often....simple swap...and you can even modify the stock unit to accept an aux input now for your mp3 player.
