What can i do about my tune?
Hey guys, my car has a PCM for less tune, and the guy i got it from said that they fattened up the AFR more than it should be, so it'll affect gas mileage. I'm wanting to get it re-tuned for better gas mileage as it is a daily driver, how should i go about it? Should i get a hold of PCM for less? Can i get something and do it myself? I don't know much about tuning. Here's my list of mods for reference: automatic trans, mods are: moroso cold air intake, trick flow intake elbow, 160* t-stat, e-fans, 52mm holley throttle body, injectors, 1.6 roller rockers, ported and polished heads, screw in studs and guide plates, off road y-pipe, full 3" exhaust into a dumped bullet, UMI panhard bar, UMI lower control arms, edelbrock torque arm, UMI tri-point subframe connectors, aluminum driveshaft, 3.42 gears, ARP head bolts, drilled and slotted front rotors. PCM for less tune.

How would i go about doing it myself? And how expensive is it to get the stuff to do it? Im thinking about just sending it to lt1pcmtuning.com to have it redone

dude....get in contact with someone at moates.net for your self tuning needs. the hardware/software is fairly inexpensive. plus you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. plus your not spending cash every time you upgrade parts. its not that hard to do especially if you already have a good base like a pcmforless tune to start of from. you can keep relying on someone else to guess at your tune or you can make sure its right yourself. once you get over the initial install/setup shock its pretty easy to make changes to your tune up.
