    Default Help Hesitating when I punch it?

    Help my car hesitates to accelarate when I punch it. Only when the car

    has been on traffic and i try to punch, my car hesitates to accelerate. No

    engine light is on? What could it be? 93 trans am A4 auto 108,000 miles.

    When i accelerate normal or slowly it works fine, but when i punch it, it

    hesitates and goes but it feels like its going to turn off and then goes?

    PLease help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!






    Its an auto. I can only feel it when

    there car has ran for a while and i try to punch it and it hesitates real

    bad.Say im going 65 on the freeway, and then i punch it, it feels like it wants

    to turn off and then goes and then it hesitates again, but when i accelerate

    normal it works fine. My fans turn on, it has a new water pump, and a new





    radiator, idk it feels like it looses power?

    Just a guess but I would put a fuel pressure guage on it. Disconnect the vacume line should read 43.5psi at idle then hook up the vacume line should read ~35psi. If you hook one up at rig to the windshield psi at cruising should be around 40-41psi. With the engine off and the key on does the pump hold pressure? The o2 sensors might not be giving a correct reading to the ecu. Do you have any engine modifications? Headers cat delete etc? A bog like that is usually due to incorrect timing or air/fuel mixtures. TPS or MAF might be giving bad readings also

    I dont have a maf since its a 93 speed density car. Oh and the only mod i have is intake nothing else. As for the fuel pressure gauge i dont have one.
