Ellis groo contact
I was recommended to contact Ellis groo concerning modifying an ltx intake. We are doing one from sheet metal but looking to do an original style intake and mill it apart and extend the runners.....
Any help would be awesome......

Thanks for the picture. I actually have a few other things in mind for the intake. Ring me in the shop when you get the time....
I am two hours ahead of you and our shop is open in the evenings. 402.438.0430 4-10 pm. We are crazy busy right now but wanting to chat with you on a few things. I am used to working with big block and ls stuff but now have an LTX car I got cheap and wanting to play.....

AWESOME!!! Thanks for the reply. Wanting to chat with you about the intake change. We actually build some sheet metal intake stuff but wanting to modify the LT manifold like you have here. I actually have a different idea that involves plenum volume increases and maybe a little better runner length. But I was sent to you by the GREAT LLOYD ELLIOT, through a few phone conversations.....
wanting to bounce some ideas and thoughts if you have the time and do not mind....

Sounds good. i was out working on mine tonight and it is late. I want to say on that one we increased volume by 50% or so but did not increase runners. The second one we did was fully welded with no bolt on top. Runners were welded and have a good tapper in both intakes. We did change the injector angle to get both plenum and runner clearance.
It has been a while since I played with it. I will have to lay it out next to a stocker and take pics

If you can find a few minutes, leave me a contact number or you can ring me. We are going to open tonight around 6pm. Short night as I have an appointment in a few minutes that will tie me up.
I have some ideas on the runner lengths as I know they are very short. I have a way to lengthen them and still keep it all under the hood....
should be a good conversation....
