LT1 swap won't start!
I just swapped in a new LT1 motor with 82k miles on it in my 93 Z28 and I can't get it to start. The car won't turn over/crank and can't figure out why nothing will crank or anything. Anybody have any ideas what it can be and how to fix it if possible?

edit an all fuses.
after all that then check for spark, and fuel pressure at the test port in the back of drivers side front (i believe on a 93) rails.Last edited by 95formula383lt1; 02-08-2011 at 11:49 PM.

Do you have 12v to the starter from the battery? Does the starter trigger wire have power when the key is in the crank position? If it's no to either of those that's the problem. Check + cable if no power to starter and look into safety's such as neutral safety switch on A4 or clutch safety switch on m6 if it's the trigger wire. Does anything contriolled by the pcm get power when the key is on? i.e. fuel pump, coil etc. Is the ground cable hooked up? Not trying to be a smart a$$ but it's usally the simplest things that get over looked!
